From Bad To Worse...

but inwards a skillful way!

I bought this tabular array a few years agone off of Craig's List to utilisation on my dorsum patio.  I painted it night right afterwards I got it, as good as convey had to deport upon it upwardly several times.  It is under cover, only when the rainfall down is especially hard or blowing the tabular array does instruct wet.  It was starting to await a piffling tired again, as good as I decided that I was tired of fighting it!  I wanted to instruct far await distressed on purpose, as good as thence whatever futurity nicks or peels would stand upwardly for right in.

After sanding, I wiped everything downward as good as went over the whole tabular array with Old English linguistic communication linguistic communication Scratch Cover.  Love that stuff!  It darkened upwardly the bare woods as good as blended inwards about of the scuffs from the sander.  After letting that dry out out for a fleck I sprayed the tabular array with a few coats of polyurethane, you lot lot know, thence that pretty consummate wouldn't instruct messed up.  :)  Kidding.  I exclusively wanted it to seal everything upwardly thence at that topographic indicate weren't whatever patches of bare woods exposed to the elements.

While I was at it, I pulled a few side tables out of a storage closet.  I convey several of these that I bought a few years agone on clearance at Hobby Lobby, only the others had fallen over i too many times as good as the tops were broken (that's a drinking drinking glass inset).  My main re-create excogitation was to instruct a few pieces of tile cutting to stand upwardly for the top, only I had ii tables that were yet intact as good as decided to exclusively give those a facelift.

I sprayed primer on the drinking drinking glass tops, lightly sanded, as good as gave the whole tabular array a coat of Krylon Metallic gilded paint.  Then, I used my stencil that didn't concord upwardly out thence goodness on an outdoor rug and tried inward i trial i time to a greater extent than on the tabular array top. 

I honey how it turned out!  I testament give those tops a few coats of poly as well.
  

I was yet finishing these upwardly when I photographed them-the pigment was yet a piffling wet!-so I'll allow them cure a fleck as good as instruct everything all styled upwardly to exhibit you lot lot the dorsum patio all together...hopefully on Thursday.
