London Road Traffic On The Map

Oliver O'Brien from UCL CASA has used data from a Transport for London traffic survey to exercise a map visualizing the traffic catamenia on London's cardinal behavior corridors.

The London Cycling Census Map allows users to compare traffic catamenia by times vehicle type on London roads at dissimilar times of the day. The map reveals unopen to interesting patterns inwards London's traffic, including which roads are virtually popular with cyclists.

When crossing the river cyclists tend to avoid Tower Bridge besides Southwark Bridge. London Bridge, Blackfriars besides Waterloo Bridge are the cyclists preferred routes for crossing the river. When travelling east/west cyclists seem to prefer Old Street - Theobold's Road rather than the many other alternatives.

The map besides reveals unopen to interesting patterns inwards the traffic of other vehicle types. It seems to confirm, for example, that cab drivers inwards London genuinely don't teach south of the river genuinely often.
